Hi,
I don't have access to the `ctrl` key, or other critical meta keys when I'm in the grub 2 command line. By other keys I will include: the function keys, as well as `alt` and also the windows/command key.
My goal is to have access to these keys in grub.
I'm on an older macbook pro laptop. My current desktop environment keyboard uses the "Macbook/Macbook Pro" layout, though I have used the default `Generic 105 key layout` with success as well.
I have seen messages in grub about not finding any keyboard layouts in `/boot/grub/layouts`, suggesting it's possible to accomplish my goal.
While generally useful, the GNU grub manual doesn't really address my issue. I am wary of making untested changes to the keyboard for obvious reasons.
FYI I don't need multi-language support.
Thanks!
