Beginners Questions • Re: [Software] what lxqt version is installed?

It's .tar.xz which I decompressed and put into it's own directory (Doesn't the .deb have 1.2?)
I then cd over and ran ./configure
but it gives "CMake Error at qtbase/cmake/QtProcessConfigureArgs.cmake:1077 (message):
CMake exited with code 1.
CMake is the newest version
Don't know what to try next
(btw I installed from Debian page with task-lxqt-desktop)
