System and Network configuration • IPv6 broken after migrating nvme drive to another machine

Since my old Thinkpad T480s died, I bought a new laptop (an asus vivobook s14 flip). Since that one came with a small 512 GB nvme drive, I moved the 1 TB drive from the Thinkpad to this new machine. This mostly seems to work well, however, IPv6 no longer works.

I'm using GNOME, with NetworkManager to configure the wireless connection. I have never set any custom options on the connection, but I have removed the connection (by "forgetting" it) and then connecting again to ensure that no old settings are lingering.

- All other devices on the network are still getting an IPv6 address
- If I boot the laptop from a USB-stick with live debian 12 environment it works
- I have rebooted the Fritz!Box I'm connecting to
- I have changed the hostname on the machine (in case the Fritz!Box remembers some link between the hostname/mac address or some such)

I really have no idea what is going on. If I grep dmesg for ipv6 I get the following:

Code:

[ 0.568702] Segment Routing with IPv6[ 0.568713] In-situ OAM (IOAM) with IPv6[ 0.568737] mip6: Mobile IPv6
I don't see anything related to IPv6 in the NetworkManager log, no errors, it just isn't mentioned there:

I do see a mention about the 99tlp-rdw.nm script exiting in a failed state, but I don't feel that's related. Any ideas what I can try to fix this, or anything I forgot to mention?
