Sorry, I was sure that this problem exist in every Linux distribution and every Desktop environronment so I did not bother even to explain. But now checked. And I was wrong. You are using Debian 12 with KDE and have set the language to Finnish? And then some KDE calendar app shows "keskiviikkona"? I use gnome and in English so I can't really guess where this would be, perhaps a screenshot could help here?
In Gnome the weekdays are how they should be - so this is a KDE Plasma thing.
The first one is in KDE Plasma boot log $ sudo journalctl -b (I edited this also to the original question). And this message is not in Gnome boot log.
The second (the weekdays) is in Plasma time localizations and this influences for example Plasma clock widget. I was just thinking about the boot log messages - and maybe Plasma adds another layer of localization on top of Gnome localization to translate Plasma related things....or maybe not.
I quess the question now is - how to get Plasma to use the same (finnish) time localization Gnome uses?
