At a guess, it's a Samba share.
As a start point, I would look at this for Thunar, using gvfs and gvfs-smb:

Looking at this discussion, Smb4K might be a better option in KDE, it doesn't need gvfs. (No experience here - just reading around.)

The Thunar method worked for me with a shared folder (USB stick) on my old router. (Ran into the SMB1 issue.) Hopefully somebody with actual experience of using a shared folder with a printer will chip in,

The printer might be using SMB1, which is disabled for security reasons. Could be an issue if it's an old printer. Model number would help here.Failed to mount windows share. Software caused connection abort.
