Hmm. This could be the kind of thing that would make this happen in Debian but not in other distros. Maybe they all had a newer version of GTK. Something to keep in mind.This is a bug in GTK affecting XFCE.

I still think Debian's approach is the correct way to go by not moving forward too quickly. I'm really only interested in running a disto that is very stable. Debian and Slackware are the only two that check all of the boxes for me. I would have to give Slackware the edge in dependability however since I've had some niggles with Debian. No show stoppers but niggles nonetheless.
