This issue persists in the Debian live build environment Ref: https://live-team.pages.debian.net/live ... ex.en.html
Even on Debian 12.4, it remained in the linuxcnc installer which I built

This seems to have resolved it but I do see it trying to install the raspi firmware when the build runs
I can't see there is anything in our config that might casue this so it must be deployed by the live build core code.
If any of the live-build team is monitoring this thread, it would be great if you could review this.
