Update. After a recent and cold 7 hour outage, with no casualties, I decided to fix this. I just ordered three batteries and will reestablish segregated backup using some UPS's I took out over a decade ago. Each spent the last week stress testing and still work fine. The last outage drained the single large ups I was running and it's now complaining. I refresh cycled the battery to usable a few years back, so will order that one once I dig in and figure out the issue for sure. Service reliability seems to be lower over the last year so I will start to push to get off grid. Lots planned, and foolish regulators seem insistent I don't tell them about it. Meanwhile the 4000W unit will go back into the truck where it's dual alternators can sustain that at 1/2 gallon diesel an hour in a pinch.Even a UPS is no guarantee of sustained power, as I've discovered
