Thanks @biochris, this was killing me. Same errors on my dietpi installation. Dietpi devs had no clue how to tackle this.I added the users to the audio group:Code:
usermod -a -G audio username
Using tigervnc as a vncserver and mate as desktop ( I suspect mate to play a role here, but that's only a gut feeling)
