The first observation wins. Same answer as your first inquiry, Ignore It.

Typically you trace from runtime error (obvious) to logged errors. You don't usually trace log errors into the unknown runtime where everything appears ok. It works or it does not work.

If you can introduce a new variable the does not work, following a configuration that did work, then backtrack to the solution that did work, and get on with it.
