System and Network configuration • Problem with Apache/www-data

Unfortunately I only get an empty string when running /usr/bin/xorriso -device_links using backticks in my Perl CGI running on Bookworm Apache.

When the script is being run from the console as a normal user, it works just fine.

I suspect some permission stuff, as Apache runs as user 'www-data'.

So I just kindly ask:
Does anybody know this problem and how to fix ?it
