Yes i have to say I was surprised too, so I did a search to find out if there was a vga only E5470 and found this page that gives some examples, I have a couple of them which are hdmi only which is what made me look it up.I Googled Latitude E5470. It was reported to have been made in 2016. I'm highly suspicious that a laptop so recently made would have a VGA port and no other video port. A VGA connector is rather large and clunky for a compact "notebook" computer. I would expect either VGA and something else, or something else and no VGA. My Latitude E6400 was made in 2008 and has both VGA and Displayport- Dell Latitude E5470 notebook (can connect usual VGA connector to back of notebook. No HDMI)
