Ah, okay. I hadn't fully understood the implications of that — not being sarcastic.
It looks like AMD released upgrades a week ago: https://repo.radeon.com/rocm/apt/debian/pool/main/r/
I should probably remove non-Debian sources after I make any upgrades. Is that good practice? I had Ubuntu going for the first time in awhile a year ago, and got burned by some Snap packaging, so I went back to Debian. I was careless and don't want to repeat myself.
You see, I spent $1000 on a Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB — the first time I could afford it — and it was the first time I've had to go so far outside the Debian source tree — this is all new to me. I had never bothered with GPUs before, but I wanted to get some LLMs and stable diffusion pipelines going and they're actually working fine (for the most part).
That said, I should have gotten the ASRock Taichi version of the GPU instead of Sapphire, to better match my motherboard, presumably. Furthermore, the AMD ROCm documentation is a labyrinth! There is probably a lot of tweaking I can do.
Okay, thanks.
