I thought the problem was solved, it just happened again... with Thunderbird: Xfce settings > Troubleshooting information > Profile Directory > Open Directory didn't work for the same reason as above. I didn't check for Firefox but “Open Directory” probably didn't work either before I changed the “inode/directory” setting. The only thing that has happened that I can think of is that Firefox and Thunderbird have been updated in the meantime. I'll wait for the next update to see what happens.
Should I inform bugzilla of the situation? Maybe I should wait for the next update, just to be sure that the update is the cause of this problem?
