General Questions • Cannot write to flash drive because of permission 'b'

Hi,
I have a flash drive with the permissions; brwxrwxrwx
I understand that the "b" refers to 'blocked' and I cannot write to the drive even though I have changed to rwx for ugo.
Is there a way to remove the "b" and if so what should I replace it with in order to be able to write to the drive?
