General Questions • [Software] bash root clamav clamscan - can't scan folder

I've installed clamav and using the bash root command 'clamscan -r /bin' fails, and any other root folder fails. It scans '/usr/bin/', which is not linux root folder 'bin'.

This was working on previous clamscan versions. Is this a bug or change in how to scan a folder?
