Hi,

I have Dell Inspiron 15 5505 that has AMD Ryzen 7 4700u CPU.

I have installed the backport kernel 6.5 but still no avail of amd pstate. So I try to search and edit the grub and other file to enable it. But eventually now acpi-cpufreq messed up.

Code:

cpupower frequency-infoanalyzing CPU 0: driver: acpi-cpufreq CPUs which run at the same hardware frequency: 0 CPUs which need to have their frequency coordinated by software: 0 maximum transition latency: Cannot determine or is not supported. hardware limits: 1.40 GHz - 2.00 GHz available frequency steps: 2.00 GHz, 1.70 GHz, 1.40 GHz available cpufreq governors: powersave performance schedutil current policy: frequency should be within 1.40 GHz and 2.00 GHz. I followed this link https://www.phoronix.com/news/AMD-P-State-How-To

How do I properly enable the amd pstate?

Code:

cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_driveracpi-cpufreq
I also uninstall laptop-mode-tools.

How to fix it?

Thanks
