Hello.
I've encountered some weirdness with Emacs and gpg, and wanted to check here before doing more troubleshooting. When listing packages in Emacs (if gpg is installed) I get an error:
Thanks.
I've encountered some weirdness with Emacs and gpg, and wanted to check here before doing more troubleshooting. When listing packages in Emacs (if gpg is installed) I get an error:
Failed to verify signature archive-contents.sig. Removing gpg lets Emacs work normally. Has anyone else seen this? Does gpg require setup after installation before Emacs can use it? All this is happening on a system with Debian 12.5 (stable, no backports), emacs-gtk 28.2+1-15, gpg 2.2.40-1.1. If this is a new problem to everyone and I can't find a fix on the Intarwebs, I'll post more details. Just thought I'd check whether I'm overlooking something simple before spending more time on this.
Thanks.
