Hi All,
I have an HP Elitedesk 800 mini G3 that I successfully installed and configured Debian on. I unplugged it for a while because I needed the power adapter for another system. Unfortunately this resulted in the BIOS resetting itself to default due to the motherboard's coin cell being dead. I have replaced the coin cell with a new battery but no matter how much I fiddle with the boot settings I can't get the system to recognize the boot drive as bootable. It is almost as if the BIOS cleared the drive's boot flag or something. Does anyone know if there is a way to restore my system or am I stuck starting over? Is there a way to prevent this from happening again?
Thanks for the help!
