Here's a link showing the issue i'm seeing. First a successful login with Xorg then a failure with the default config. (Please excuse reflections of very messy workshop.)

I've tried with and without xserver-xorg-video-intel installed and no change in symptoms. Is there somewhere I have to tell Wayland which to use?
