Hi Teclab,
... I have exactly the same behaviour over here.
In the meantime I realised, that amending my "bullseye" version of /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.conf by commenting the modelines to

Code:

Section "Monitor" Identifier "VGA-1" #Modeline "1920x1080" 173.00 1920 2048 2248 2576 1080 1083 1088 1120 -hsync +vsync #Modeline "1680x1050" 146.25 1680 1784 1960 2240 1050 1053 1059 1089 -hsync +vsync Option "PreferredMode" "1920x1080"EndSectionSection "Screen" Identifier "Screen0" Monitor "VGA-1" DefaultDepth 24 SubSection "Display" Modes "1920x1080" "1680x1050" EndSubSectionEndSection
does not produce the desired resolution, but at least 1280x1024. - However, I did not manage to get this back to 1920x1080 as it was before with bullseye ...
I'd be anxious to hear any remedies from you ...

Bests,
Hegi.
