Yes, Labwc had my attention also because I previously used Open Box. As one can gather, I like lightweight desktops. I am aware that Labwc is a serious contender for the lightweight wayland DE space. For me, I will stay with Sway as I have started to enjoy the productivity of the tiling environment - granted it may not appeal to all, and so Labwc is another great option!

Another thing that I am really excited about is that I have bypassed the entire X11, xinit, xsession complexitiy where I often wondered what starts what. Image may be NSFW.

X11 has been great and has served well over the years but I must say that I like that I can simply run sway from my .login file and that's it! Amazing simplicity!
